Site under construction!
In few words, DEDAL allows you to Detect, Eradicate, Debug, Analyze, and Locate software issues. And lot more !
It is used in complement of debuggers/profilers, but also in place of them, and offers a powerful framework that makes life easier for C++ developers.
It was first designed for small/embedded Linux devices, then enhanced on x86 Linux, and now a MS Windows port is currently in work.
Dedal features are useful for software security, debugging, optimization, and reliability.
The project's core was started in 2003 (AKA DeepSee since 2007), and is a public stand-alone project since spring 2009, with dedicated infrastructure, team (partly from [ Tetrane] ) and a new name : Dedal.
As an Free Open Source Software, Dedal is open to newcomers ! You are welcome to ask for features, report bugs, submit patches, and get involved into the adventure !
Please note that the MSVC port is very minimalist for now, features will be ported on the flow, one by one.. All Dedal features are fully supported on most Linux systems. (uclibc has some limitations though).
Rounding web site (and doc) are not yet finalized, but you can start working with Dedal from now ! Here are input pointers :
